Every so often, I hit a point where I need to reset — to rebuild momentum and get back into alignment. That’s what this 100-day challenge is about. I’ve done it before, sometimes I’ve made it far, sometimes I’ve fallen short. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress. This time, I’m tracking everything: habits, workouts, fasting, sleep, writing. Each day I check off what I did — or didn’t do — because both matter. It’s a long-term system built around consistency, not hype.
There’s a rhythm to it, almost like a chain reaction. If I sleep early, I wake up rested. If I wake up rested, I can train. If I train, I feel better, more focused, more productive. When I’m on that rhythm, I eat cleaner, think sharper, and work with more intention. It’s simple, but it’s not easy. That’s what fascinates me about this kind of challenge — how small, daily actions can completely shift your energy and mindset.
Part of the challenge includes writing every day, which is what gave birth to this entire project — the website, the blogs, the idea of California Collective as a living structure. Each post you see here is part of that 100-day journey. Every category — photography, fitness, wellness, motivation, tech, business — represents one piece of what I’m building. It’s not about chasing balance; it’s about learning how all these parts feed into one another.
I’m on day nine right now — nine percent through. I’m fasting, training, sleeping early, avoiding alcohol and sugar, and uploading daily content to YouTube and TikTok. It’s a lot, but that’s the point. Every day, even if I only move one step forward, I move. That’s what matters. Because once you build that chain of effort, the system starts to pull you forward — and all you have to do is keep showing up.
