I’ve always had a camera somewhere close, but it wasn’t until my honeymoon that I truly fell in love with photography. I took a Nikon—my first professional camera—without really knowing what I was getting into. Aperture, depth of field, shutter speed, lenses, sensors… it was a whole new world. I decided that if we were traveling across the world—to places I might never visit again—I wanted to capture it the right way. Those first few photos changed everything for me.
The difference between a simple iPhone shot and a photograph taken with intention was night and day. The blurred backgrounds, the textures, the depth—the way light behaved when you actually understood how to control it. I became obsessed with the craft, diving into RAW files, Adobe Lightroom, and the endless game of shadows, highlights, and tones. It’s no wonder photography becomes an addiction once you realize how much is going into what you can capture in a single frame.
That was back in 2018, and since then I’ve kept shooting—upgrading gear, exploring lenses, and eventually moving into video (a story for another day). Photography has been one of the most grounding parts of my creative life, a way to stay present while also building something lasting. Every image becomes a timestamp—proof of where you’ve been and how you saw the world at that moment.
In this series, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite shots from around the world, each with its own story. Over time, I’ll be turning this passion into print collections — a way for people to bring a piece of that captured moment into their homes.
